KEPK presents Anoosh de Broc, an exhibition of ceramic works as part of the Brisbane Art and Design Festival (BAD).
The exhibition displays a collection of ceramics sculptures and vases which play with geometric shapes by altering spheres and triangles to create movement and fluidity.
The pieces are hand built or thrown on the wheel then altered to add inflection and contour. Some works include vases with a parametric twist, while others are precariously stacked oblates.
The atelier Anoosh de Broc is located at KEPK in Yeerongpilly. It is run by Melina @anooshdebroc who is working in evolutionary biology research using 3D models of bones from living and extinct mammals.
