Exhibition - September 30th - October 7th
An abstract representation of societies’ problems, satirically represented in personified sculptures.
John Langton Salmond
John is a very capable and skilled artist and Sculptor. With many years of experience in both commissioned and commercial work. Though John himself would say this alone is insufficient reason to create A body of work and hold an exhibition. John is in his late 50s and has had a very rich and full life of experiences. Everything from fundamentalist preaching, drug addiction and abuse, to architecture, teaching, and environmentalism. It is John’s very personal insight into the human condition combined with his eye as an artist that enables him to express in this work what mere words cannot.
Each piece in this collection depicts the very nature of the contents the box is designed to contain.
FINALE event Friday, Oct 7th, 6 pm - Artist talk at 7 pm
